[streaming] VLC 0.85 and alsa-xxx 1.0.8-7 Incompatibility

Hi list,  I have a trouble to reproduce sound in VLC, i was reading some bugs in debian.org bug=359851, where talking about some audio problems... but i dont know if my sistem have the rigth tools....

My Sistem is

I have installed 
   alsa-base      1.0.8-7

All this description is because i can play tv on VLC but dont have audio, the only way to have audio's tv is doing 
>> v4lctl volume mute off

In fact with this i can hear the audio's tv but cant stream it... By last way y guess that exist some incompatibily with the alsa drivers

Am in the correct way?

My sistem is completly compatible with VLC 0.85?

Need more information to help me (wich one)?

Please i am really need help with this, I dont have any more ideas :-S.

PD. Now i will try installing alsa-xxx 1.0.11
