[streaming] statistics and access control

Hi at all,

I'm running vlc as a streaming server over rtsp (vod) under debian sarge. So long, everthing is fine.
Now I have 2 questions:
1. I want to restrict the access to the server. Are there features in vlc to do that?

2. Are there some statistics features about the usage, e.g. when and how long was a movie played?
