I think only HTTP streaming currently provide some kind of
authentication. We have either HTTP plain authentication, or SSL/TLS
client certificate authentication. Unfortunately, HTTP is not really
the recommended streaming protocol (UDP and RTP/UDP work much better).
Of course, other mechanism could be implemented.
