[streaming] Buffer management of vlc

Hi, 
    everyone.
    After I read the buffer management of liveMedia, I want to know more about the buffer inside of vlc, including the size, datastucture ..... and also the management. However, I found it complexed now. So could anyone tell me what the buffer management is going on in vlc. And help me find the position of related codes.
