We are using driver v0.7.4, as I stated in my original post. v0.10.1
doesn't build on CentOS 5.0, although it has a 2.6.18 derived kernel.
It seems that there are incompatible changes in it that the ivtv driver
can't cope with.
We could switch to a bleeding-edge distribution so we can use ivtv
v0.10.1 if we know that will help, but we'd rather not do this if we
don't have to. In our world, once deployed, Linux boxes are rarely
upgraded, so CentOS makes more sense for us: we end up with fewer big
differences in deployed systems.
