Hi all,

I've set up my VLC streaming server, telnet interface to add new VOD
streams.

I got the video streamed fine and played well by a VLC client, in a LAN.

As soon as I try through internet, it breaks. The behaviour is :

- client side : VLC player gets the video details (size,
codecs, streams url for both video and audio). I get the SDP file... But
then nothing. I get the famous message "Nothing recevide in 10s, trying
TCP" but TCP does the same, aborting after 10 seconds as well.

- Server side : udp connection to client gets opened, but when
using the send(..) command, I get a connection refused. As if the client
closed the connection... Firewall is not showing any "denied" requests,
udp traffic being open on all ports for the sake of the test.

My VLC server start command is : vlc --extraintf telnet --rtsp-host
0.0.0.0: 554 --verbose 2 --vlm-conf vlm.conf

If you have any hint, anything I could try, please help me.

I thought streaming over the internet with VLC is quite a standard
procedure. I must be missing something very important.

Thanks,

Mathieu
