[streaming] vob: Video on Demand

I am able to do Video on Demand for a .dat file. I have dvd files on
my HDD, like:

vts_01_1.vob

which tried to do Video on Demand (VoD), but it failed.

Can we do Video on Demand of all formats, or only .dat.

If we need some more software to to do VoD for formats like mp4, mov, vob?
