Hi,

vlc --verbose 2
v4l:/dev/video:norm=pal:frequency=543250:size=640x480:channel=1:adev=/dev/dsp0:audio=0
--sout '#transcode{threads=2,vcodec=mp4v,acodec=mpga,vb=512,ab=128,deinterlace}
:std{access=http,mux=ts,dst=10.70.2.250:7777}'

I have option deinterlace in 'transcode' such it's described in
http://www.videolan.org/doc/streaming-howto/en/ch04.html. But vlc 0.8.6a
tells:

[00000310] main private debug: looking for video filter2 module: 4 candidates
[00000310] main private warning: no video filter2 module matching "deinterlace" could be loaded
[00000260] stream_out_transcode private debug: no video filter found

Where is the problem - wrong option, place, module ....?

regards
