My configuration :

- PC HP 781.fr P4 1.8 GHz
  - ALC 201 and realtek drivers.
  - Gigabit Ethernet LAN (100 MHz negociated).
- windows XP SP2 up to date.
- vlc 0.8.4 for freebox HD.
- unmanaged netgear switch.
- freebox HD (V5).

My issue :

- generation of mpeg II audio files from an original audio CD with "advanced
open , disk , transcode mpeg audio ..."
- streaming to freebox HD (mpeg ts encapsulation).
- connection from freebox HD to Home Cinema amplifier with TOS link.
- short clicking noises (like very short saturation or distorsion).
- not always at the same time.
- reproducible with every audio CD.
- nothing reported in log messages.

I downloaded the 0.8.6b from videolan site , no difference at all , problem
is still there ...
I tried to use WIFI rather then Ethernet 100 Mb/s , no difference at all .
Thus I think it can't be my Ethernet link.

Any idea ?
