[streaming] Are different audio- and video-sources supported?

Hello streamers!

I am able to stream video+audio and simple audio-files
with VLC. But now I want to use different video- and
audio-sources. I can't find anything in the docs that
this is possible. e.g. as video a v4l-source and a
mp3-file as audio-source. The only thing mentioned is
the adev-option. Since I want to do the transcoding and
muxing on-the-fly, muxing as an own step before streaming
is not an option for me.

Do I overlook something obvious?

I'm using VLC 0.9.0-svn on linux.

Thank you for your comments,
Lukas
