[streaming] different video size

Hi,

I was testing the VLC's streaming tool and I noticed a behavior. When I send
a video streaming in a LAN and I save it at the receiver, the size in bytes
of the video is smaller than the original, at first I thought that was the
packet loss of the network, but I tested using the streaming to localhost
(127.0.0.1) using two instances of VLC in the same machine and the result
was the same: the video became smaller than the original. Why does this
happen?
