Thank you Rémi Denis-Courmont for your quick response.
I got the impression we need one file for each language because of the
guidelines on this
page<http://www.videolan.org/developers/i18n/vlc-howto.html>.
If you don't have to do anything special and the generic language is good
enough for each language, please let me know. That will be very nice. We
would simply create multiple versions of the *.po files on Pootle and start
work.
