[Translators] General notes for translators

Hello all!
Since I did some of the AUTHORS update myself, I want to add my point of
view:
We really _want_ to give credits to all of our translators and as you
probably expected, typos or completely wrong names are not intended.
I encourage everyone maintaining a translation (or doing the work that
is) to check:
- The about box (the "Authors" tab) or the AUTHORS file itself (for vlc
2.0.2)
If the right person(s) is(/are) mentioned, if all of them are mentioned
and if the names are spelled correctly. Checking the language's name
won't hurt, either. Proper names are hard to spell (check), even in your
own language, so expect us to fix them only if we are pointed towards them.
If you are a new translator, supply an accurate *FIRST* and *LAST* name,
and make it clear if you wish to be anonymous.
If a Windows or a OSX machine is available, you could also check if the
language is selectable.
Any errors found could be send to me (although I hope, there are not so
much of them, "spamming" the list seems unnecessary).
As much of you noticed, there is a beta version VLC for Android
available. Translating it will enable testing the translation, but the
strings used are far away from being stable. You are not required to
keep the translation up to date all the time, as it is going to change
rather often.
For the iOS version there is not even decided, if it will ever be
released at all. So give translating it a very low priority since at the
moment I would call it a possible waste of time.
Regards
Christoph
