[ANN] VideoLAN Client 0.2.90

Dear friends,

The VLC team is proud to announce a new major release, VLC 0.2.90. This
version features :

 * A new faster video decoder, based on walken's mpeg2dec ;
 * Altivec optimizations on PowerPC G4 processors (GNU/Linux and MacOS X) ;
 * A working MacOS X port, with encrypted DVD and overlay support ;
 * A network HTTP input, to read streams directly from a Web server ;
 * IP Multicast support.

And a lot of bug fixes and miscellaneous enhancements. You can view the
