[EVENT] VideoLAN presentation on Feb 28, 2002

   The VideoLAN team is pleased to invite you to its annual presentation
day, aimed at showing our latest developments, partnerships and future
projects to the outside world.


   The event is taking place in the École Centrale, near Paris, and is
open to everyone. A map to find the school can be found here:

   The schedule is planned as follows:

    14:00 - 14:30   Welcoming attendees
    14:30 - 16:30   Presentation
    16:30 - late    Cocktail reception and talk with the team


   The presentation will cover the following topics:

    * features and architecture of the VideoLAN Server
    * features and architecture of the VideoLAN Client
    * different solutions for video distribution on a network
    * current and future uses of the VideoLAN solution
    * VIA's test site project at the École Centrale

   NOTE: the presentation will be in french, but most of the team
         members speak english and will be able to answer questions.
