VLC 1.1.8 - 'The Luggage'
This is the ninth release of the 1.1.x branch of VLC.

This is a minor release, focused on minor features, bugfixes and security issues:
 - Updated UI elements on OSX
 - Various fixes in all interfaces and control modules
 - New dirac encoder based on libschroedinger, faster than the classic one
 - Fixes in subtitles, notably auto-detection for .txt files
 - Fixes in RTSP, mp4, ogg, audio tags, ape handling
 - Security fix and other miscellaneous fixes
 - Translations updates and new language
