Description:
I am using an Apple PowerBook G3 "Firewire" with software decoder and a
Toshiba DVD-ROM drive. I'm running Linux/PPC with kernel 2.4.2.
I have compiled the latest vlc from CVS source code. I run it like so:
$ vlc dvd:/dev/dvd
The video begins playing, fairly smoothly, but soon I see messages like: PES
trashed - fifo full !
Soon I get a message that vlc has crashed (athough the video is still
playing). Then a short time later, the video stops. There is also no sound at
all...
