   A small suggestion : the "Open DVD" menu in the Gnome interface is
actually called "Open Disc" (because we'll eventually read VCDs) and
opens a new window which lets the user choose the device, but also the
title and chapter. See how it looks on http://zoy.org/~sam/opendisc.png
and on_disc_ok_clicked() in gnome_callbacks.c for the callback code.
