CVS compile

I'm trying to compile the CVS version of vlc (just synced this morning)

A few lines in the output of running ./configure jumped out at me.  They
are:

checking for sys/ioctl.h... yes
checking for sys/cdio.h... no
checking for sys/dvdio.h... no
checking for linux/cdrom.h... yes

Is that a problem? I'm running debian's testing branch, and I'm using the
2.4.4 kernel.
