   The VideoLAN team is proud to announce version 1.0.0 of libdvdcss.

   libdvdcss is the cross-platform library used by vlc, the VideoLAN
Client, to access DVDs with transparent CSS decryption.

   Changes in this release:

  * Stable 1.0.0 API.
  * Allows selection from 3 different decryption methods.
  * NetBSD, OpenBSD, and MacOS X ports.
  * Various bugfixes.

   Please note that 1.0.0 stabilizes the API, but brought a little API
change. The API reference can be found here, together with some sample
code:
