Log Message:
* --chennels puts gtk/gnome in multi-channel network mode.

* the network window of the interface reports the values of the environment
 variables.

* channels mode excludes vls configuration 

* the vlc does not try to bind vls.via.ecp.fr by default when you select
 channels mode.
