Bug ? Mpeg video freeze

Hi,


I recently tried vlc-0.3.0 and came across some weird behavior. I 
created a mpeg
file using mp1e ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/zapping ) and my bttv 
card.
Audio plays alright but video freezes after about 10 sec's. You can find
the file here http://evolution.4ua.com/videolan/test.mpeg

Player was installed from the source, and used on a redhat 7.1 distro.

Any ideas why this is happening ?
