It has been reported through bugzilla that the wxWindows interface does
not work together with vout under MacOS X. I've looked into this and
it turns out wxWindows uses Carbon, not Cocoa, under MacOS X. The vout
depends on the interface being Cocoa (performSelectorOnMainThread).
