   I suggest you use the CVS version for this. It is a lot more modular
in this regard. Have a look at the mpeg_system plugin (actually everything
in modules/demux/mpeg/ will be interesting to you). You can reimplement
a new mpeg_system module with your own function; if the current structure
of vlc doesn't suit you, please tell us what you still need to be changed
in the current CVS.
