I did this plugin because of sound problems I also had with one DVD. Unfortunatly it didn't solve anything (for this particular dvd) so I guess the problem is coming from somewhere else. I need to investigate this.

Just change this line in liba52_adec.c:
    ADD_CAPABILITY( DECODER, 40 )
to:
    ADD_CAPABILITY( DECODER, 60 )
