broken command line

I can no longer say 'vlc @5,2' (it worked just a few hours ago :-)

It produces;
input error: cannot stat() file `@5,2' (No such file or directory)
input error: unknown command `@5,2'
module error: requested demux module `vlc' unavailable
input error: no suitable demux plug-in for `(null)/vlc:@5,2'
