BTW the CVS now compiles if I do the following.

Rename beos_specific.cpp to beos_specific.c (not sure why)
remove s16tofloat32swab (fails to compile have not looked at it 
closely)
use the new AOUT_VOLUME_* constants in MediaView.cpp  (now checked in)
