[vlc-devel] mailaddress harvesters.

I have noticed a increasing amount of SPAM since i joined the VideoLAN
team.
i traced large parts of this SPAM back to the AUTHORS file and the
Mailinglist archives.

I advised the mailinglist managers a while ago to mask the adresses in
there archives, and this is being worked on at the moment i was
informed.
I now changed the /team page to replace @ in the listing of developers
to -replacewith at -. I chose this string because it is clear to most ppl,
yet confusing for automatic mail-harvesters.

Since there are also many email-addresses in the source code (and again
the THANKS and AUTHORS files) i would also like to propose to put a
.htaccess on CVSweb with login/pass anoncvs/anoncvs. I know it is not
handy, but i think it would be better.

Would someone be so kind ?
Or does anyone have arguments against this?

I know i can't fight of all spam, but i would like to keep it to a
minimum.
