[vlc-devel] VLC and pause / play latency

Gildas et al,

The --udp-sout-caching (on the VLC acting as server) and --udp-caching (on the client VLC) 
options, while helping somewhat, still don't bring the pause / play latency down to the level we 
would like.  Is there anything else you can think of?  Is this a limitation of the MPEG2 decoder 
used by VLC?
