[vlc-devel] audio clicks in 0.6.2

Hi all,

I noticed, that in 0.6.2, maybe as early as 0.6.1, the audio (of a DVD)
frequently contains quite noticible clicks and scratches. I switched
back to 0.6.0 and the clicks are gone. However, that version still
suffers from frequent resampling and the pitch of the audio changes
quite often. This is all in the BeOS version of VLC. If the same thing
can be noted in the other versions, maybe it is a problem in the core.
Is there any information available on why the audio (if available) is
not the primary source of synchronization in the vlc design? Or have I
misinterpreted something?

Best regards,
-Stephan
