thanks, I tried in the meantime the sdl.c version 1.9 from CVS and it compiles again.
But there is always the problem with playing MPEG files:
 main interface error: option frequency does not exist
 main interface error: option symbol-rate does not exist
 main video output error: thread 6: mutex_lock failed at src/video_output/vout_pictures.c:
118 (22:Invalid argument)
 main video output error: thread 6: mutex_unlock failed at src/video_output/vout_pictures.
c:204 (22:Invalid argument)
the last working VLC-0.50 was vlc-snapshot-20020710 and vlc-0.4.6.
Is there any solution ?
