Hello Niels,

I am really happy that you made the effort to write such a capable and
well-founded critic about the Mac OS X interface proposal. I completely
agree with all your points. About the mock-up: I don't know what types
of buttons the other Mac OS X media applications use, but I think it
wouldn't hurt to use the same "white" translucent buttons, while
keeping the rectangular shape and not lowering them into window the
surface. Having these distinctions will set them apart enough from the
main transport buttons, while making the design appear more consistent.
Instead of the "+" button (what does it do?), I vote for a volume
slider directly in the main window, not hidden in some preference
window. My last proposal would be to remove some vertical space between
the window title and the controls.

Best regards,
-Stephan
