I needed to upgrade some compile-tools for building vlc.
I guess your problem is the cause of your and mine system being out of  
sync.
Sorry about that.

Ehhhmm. then christophe or someone else of the vlc team needs to built  
it. I don't know what i did wrong exactly. Can someone explain?
