It would be great to settle the debate now. I think a reasonable solution
would be the following :

- Convert the vlc FAQ in Docbook SGML and put it in the CVS in vlc/doc/

- Modifiy the "make dist" so that a text version of the FAQ is generated
  and put in the tarballs.

- Use the stylesheets in the CVS www.videolan.org/doc/common to build
  automatically the HTML, PDF, PS, RTF versions and make them available on
  the Web site.
