[vlc-devel] Memory leak in 5.1 audio

I was trying to actually sit down and watch an entire DVD today, but had
some problems running out of memory. I'm no expert at tracking down memory
leaks, so I can't tell you exactly where it's happening. I've narrowed it
down as much as I can.
My high tech testing method was to play a video while watching the memeory
usage in the Win2k task manager. When playing a DVD with 5.1 audio, it used
about 1k per second. When I switched from 5.1 to any of the others and the
memory usage stopped growing. Any time I switched back to 5.1 the memory
usage started growing again.
Some more things I should mention. This problem was with the
vlc-0.6.0-test2-20030506 version, as well as the current CVS. I had similar
problems with 0.5.3, but I just blamed it on my development setup. I am
using Cygwin/Mingw on Windows 2000.
Let me know if there's something I can do in the next few days to help
figure this out.
