Yes, much much much better.
At least now it no longer crashes.

However, the Decoder Stuck bug seem to be back again now.
Sometimes when I try to play XviD for instance, the video freezes. 
Everything else keeps running and after a second of 6 to 10 the video 
closes itself. So i'm still voting for keeping this 'not the default' 
in 0.6.0 until fixed.
