Yes (I normally do).  If I run the client VLC with --noaudio --novideo, 
the problem doesn't happen.  However, if I use --noaudio --vout dummy, 
it does.  I'm looking for the piece of code that gets executed with a 
dummy video output that does not get executed with no video output, but 
i've not found it yet.
