OK, here are some short explanations.

This big commit is the adding of skins to VLC (which therefore isn't a
skin-free player anymore, sorry ;-)). This has been done mainly by
karibu (Emmanuel Puig) and Ipkiss (Olivier Teulière), but with the
casual help of others (sam, gildas, ...)

Currently, the skins only work on Windows, but it shouldn't be too hard
to port to other OS using GTK (well, we hope so...)

Main features are:
 - XML description of the skins: no need to compile VLC when modifying a
   skin...
 - all the common controls (buttons, checkboxes, images, text, sliders,
playlists), with the ability to have sliders following a Bezier curve
   (!)
 - transparency and fading effects, when supported
 - loading of tar.gz-ed skins
 - ... just test it!

There is only one skin in the CVS (in share/skins/default), and it is an
horrible one. If you have the artistic fibre, please read the
instructions in doc/skins/ and create a nice skin :)

Any comments/criticisms/suggestions are welcome...
