[vlc-devel] Screen captures from VLC?

I was trying to do some screen captures (via PrintScreen) out of VLC for
some documentation, and received a bit of a surprise when I pasted the
images into Word when the images were still "live" and disappeared when
I exited VLC.
 
How were the video captures done for the Windows client that are on the
website?
