[vlc-devel] handling MPEG stream changes - where?

I was trying to figure out how to signal a aspect ratio change in the
VCD plugin. My first hope was that there was an callback that would
indicate a change in format is coming up. I don't see something for
this.  I then thought maybe I need to handle in a demuxer, since I've
been given to believe I might have to do something there to have
complete VCD support.  However my current thinking is that this really
would best be handled automatically in the MPEG decoding part.
