   Okay, I stand corrected.

   However, I suspect this transcription is the mere result of a missing
glyph on the keyboard, or the typist's laziness (and lack of spell
checking, see the incorrect "Boskmal" spelling at the end of the page).

   I suggest the reading of the following similar pages for reference:

   They all spell Bokmål. See also the official Microsoft language
translation for the language name (though we despise Microsoft for
various reasons, their i18n teams are very efficient):

   I also thought this might be a mere cut and paste from the Norwegian
word, but this page has both Italian and Norwegian wordings for other
languages (see how they translate Skånsk to Scanio, but keep Bokmål as
is):

   Finally, common sense should prevail against wording it "Bokmal"
since the "å" character is pronounced like the french "ô". At the very
least the word should be spelt with a double "aa" reminding its foreign
origin.
