[vlc-devel] libcdio on Debian (Was Re: cddax vs cdda plugins)

Not really. Nicolas Boullis handles libcdio and vcdimager and helped
with the most recent releases of both of these, especially with
getting the library versioning correct. But he seems rather busy these
days. There have compatability problems with libcdio 0.71 and releases
of vcdimager before the one released yesterday: 0.7.21. (And I'll try
to do better in the future with respect to not breaking the API or
ABI.)

At any rate, in short I'm hopeful that since things are now consistent
an update of both vcdimager and libcdio will happen relatively soon on
Debian.
