[vlc-devel] VLC 0.7.0 Mozilla plugin does not output audio

Mozilla plugin refuses to play audio. Situation is:

.vlc/vlcrc:

aout=arts

- stand-alone vlc chooses arts as its audio output module
- mozilla plugin says: "oss audio output error: cannot open audio device
(/dev/dsp)" and chooses dummy audio output module

Where should I look for the problem? Any ideas?
