category and 'and' is used between them.
So the expended test is something like that :
(types) && (selected es) && (selected programs)
Where :
* (no(-))audio, (no(-))video, (no(-))spu are used for stream types.
Ex: audio,video -> audio || video
no-audio,video -> !audio || video (ie video, spu)
* (no(-))es are used for selected es.
Ex: es=10-15,es=20 -> (es >= 10 && es <= 15) || es == 20
es=10,no-es=0-20 -> es == 10 || !(es >= 0 && es <= 20)
* (no(-))prgm and (no(-))program are used for selected programs.
For example, 'video,audio,es=12,es=42' could be traduced by
(video || audio ) && (es == 12 || es == 42)
