[vlc-devel] MPEG Transport Streams containing MPEG-1 video data?

I've found that VLC (v0.7.2) has trouble playing a MPEG Transport Stream
that contains MPEG-1 (not MPEG-2) video data - for example, the file:
	http://www.live.com/vlc/test.ts
VLC plays only the audio of this file (plus a very brief frame of video, at
the start)

The original Program Stream file - from which this Transport Stream file
was derived - is
	http://www.live.com/vlc/test.ts
VLC plays this file (audio+video) OK.

Is this a known issue?

	Ross.
