Xine's first AUHAL opensource implementation in the world.
only stereo and default device are supported. We should change from VLC 
coreaudio to this in the future. Apple advices against using the 
lowerlevel CoreAudio calls.

Current issues to be resolved by/with/concerning AUHAL
- channel order and setup (no downmixing suppport, but you can do stereo 
to quad for instance)
- resampling and output in one (so coreaudio_resampler can go as well in 
the future)
- not yet known how to handle S/PDIF passtrough
