Hi,
based on Jasons spec (thanks!) I've created a redhat enterprise linux
3 rpm. I changed quite some stuff in the spec file, which is attached
to this mail. The src.rpm can be found at
http://fett.ethz.ch/~spindler/vlc-rpm/rhel3/
Among the changes are addition of faad2 requirements for the --enable-faad
option and modifications to the mozilla plugin build. I solved some problems
with search and replace with perl, as I have found no way to specify the
location of the idl/mozilla directory otherwise. Because of this I had to
call sh bootstrap before configuring. Is there a better way to do that?
