[vlc-devel] subtitles on vlc with DirectX rendering

Tried vlc 0.7.1 binary on Win2k with Direct X and was very impressed
with the quality of display. However I noticed CVD subtitles were not
getting shown. (I guess the good news is that I dind't see jerkiness
due to the PTS discontinuity as was there in previous versions).

I turned on maximum debugging on CVD subtitles, and sure enough I
don't see the render routines getting called. So how in Direct X does
one arrange for a subtitle to get placed?
