[vlc-devel] vlc 0.8.0 does not play directories anymore

Hi there!

You do a great job with the vlc player. I am using the win32 build. I 
found a feature of 0.7.2 that does not work anymore with 0.8.0. Maybe it 
was not intended to be a feature so it was not checked in the new build:

0.7.2 plays dvds on harddrives with working menus if you use the following 
syntax:
        open volume
        dvd://C:\MyRips\ThisDVD\VIDEO_TS\
in 0.8.0 menu navigation does not work!



I do not know if vlc is supposed to be able to playback dvb recordings but 
dvb-playback still stutters, vlc hangs sometimes. (recorded with pinnacle 
pctv-sat)
