[vlc-devel] [REQUEST] registration descriptors in PMT (MPEG-TS)

Hi,
it would be very nice and useful to have, for every stream in the PMT of 
Mpeg-TS,
a Registration Descriptor (0x5, fully standard) with the content equal 
to the fourcc of the stream,
e.g. 'DIV3' for divx3, 'XVID' etc,  in order to make it possible to 
recognize non standard
streams in TS.

It should also be quite easy to implement.
